As a result of many years of experience, we have our process down to a fine art so that your experience of working with Orwells Furniture is one of sheer pleasure.
Project brief
In the first instance, we will take a project brief. This can take place in the comfort of your own home or at our showroom which is great if you’re in need of inspiration. To get the most out of this meeting, we aim to allow around two hours. Not only does this give us plenty of time to really understand your requirements, it also gives you a chance to get to know us better.
Using the information gleaned from our meeting, we bring our free design service into play. One of our expert designers will prepare a proposal, which will include costs. Once completed, we will invite you to our showroom where we will present you with our proposal over coffee and cake.
Ongoing consultation
When you are satisfied with our proposal, we will arrange further meetings as work progresses. We want you to be nothing short of delighted by the end of the project. We will consult you regularly to ensure that everything is going as you expected.
We will establish whether our project management services or building works department need to get involved. Remember, we offer a long list of services to make things easier for you. Use us as much or as little as you like.
Site Survey
Ahead of installation, we will undertake a site survey to ensure the accuracy of all dimensions. If necessary we will use a templating technique to demonstrate the footprint of the furniture. This exercise finalises the layout and is of benefit to all the tradespeople involved.
Manufacturing
We will manufacture all your furniture at our own workshops from whence it will be transferred to our polishing and painting department.
Installation
The final stage of the project is installation. We will agree a handover date with you and the installation will be carried out by Orwells personnel, guided by a programme of works.
We like to think that your relationship with Orwells Furniture doesn’t end on the handover date. We provide an excellent aftersales service you can contact to deal with any post installation concerns. Not for nothing is our motto Made for Life.
